  • Lift-Assist Mount
    Patented Lift-Assist Design cuts the weight of stow and deploy in half. Features a stainless steel, nitrogen gas-charged spring.

  • Available Transducers
    Fortrex motors are available with a built-in Universal Sonar 2 (US2) transducer. To connect your transducer to a fish finder, you may need an Adapter Cable. The compatibility charts for the transducers listed at the bottom of this page will help you determine if your fish finder is compatible and if you need an adapter cable.

Specifications

  • Available Thrust and Voltage Options
    • The Fortrex is available in 80 lbs and 112 lbs of thrust. The 80 lb thrust motors are 24 volts. The 112 lbs. thrust Fortrex is a 36 volt motor. We do not offer a 12 volt Fortrex.
  • Available Shaft Lengths
    • The Fortrex is available in shaft lengths of 45", 52", and 62". The shaft on the Fortrex cannot be lengthened as it would be cost prohibitive. The shaft can be shortened. If the shaft is shortened at an Authorized Service Center, it will not void your warranty. If the shaft is shortened outside of an Authorized Service Center, the warranty will be voided.
  • Motor Control Options
    • The Fortrex is controlled with either a foot pedal or a hand control tiller.
  • Mounting Holes
    • All Fortrexes have the same mounting hole patterns as our cable-steer motors for easy interchangeability between cable-steer trolling motors.
