Follow these simple steps to perform a Trim Reset on your Minn Kota Ulterra or Riptide Ulterra.
*Note: These instructions do not apply to the Ulterra QUEST nor the Riptide Instinct QUEST.
This process will reset the motor trim point and allow for proper stow of the motor. This video shows you how to conduct a Trim Reset on your Minn Kota Ulterra or Riptide Ulterra.
- During the stow sequence, the motor lower unit should come straight up and begin to rotate into the horizontal position when the lower unit is about twelve 12 to 13 inches below the aluminum base extrusion.
- During the deploy sequence, the motor lower unit should extend about 5 to 6 inches out from the steering housing and then begin to rotate into the vertical position.
