Pairing the Raptor

Raptor Shallow Water Anchors can be paired to other Raptors, Raptor remotes, Raptor Foot Switches, Stomp Switches, i-Pilot or i-Pilot Link Trolling Motor, Humminbird Fish Finder, and the Raptor phone App via Android or iPhone.mceclip0.png

Pairing Considerations

  • When pairing two raptors, they both need to have Active Anchoring OR they both need to not have Active Anchoring. You cannot pair one Raptor with Active Anchoring to a Raptor without Active Anchoring because of the difference in software required to control the patented Active Anchoring feature.
  • When pairing to a Minn Kota Motor, the motor needs to have either Bluetooth i-Pilot or Bluetooth i-Pilot Link.
  • For a single Raptor, you can have a combination of up to 4 remotes, foot switches, and Stomp Switches. The Stomp Switches take 2 of the 4 slots.
  • For a dual Raptors, you can have a combination of up to 6 remotes, foot switches, and Stomp Switches. The Stomp Switches take 2 of the 6 slots.
  • When installing the phone app, you will want to make sure you install the Raptor app instead of the Talon App.
  • Every Raptor comes direct from the factory with a Remote already paired to the Raptor. When installing two Raptors, it will first be necessary to clear all devices from both Raptor networks

Pairing 2 Raptors Together with a Raptor Remote

  1. Ensure that both of your Raptor pumps have had the memories cleared before pairing the two pumps together.
  2. After clearing the memory of both pumps, power cycle each pump one time.
  3. Make sure both Raptors are powered on and in the retracted position.
  4. Press the pair button on each pump. The blue LED's will begin to flash.
  5. The pumps will emit a triple-beep tone when pairing is successful.
  6. Within a couple of seconds will automatically go into port / starboard designation mode - both mode led's on the pumps will turn green and begin to beep
  7. Press the up button on the pump that is connected to the Raptor mounted on the starboard side of the boat.
  8. The pairing of the two raptors together is now complete.
  9. Next, you will need to pair the remotes you wish to use to the dual Raptor system.
