The Legacy i-Pilot Link controller can be paired with the Legacy i-Pilot Link Remote and the Legacy i-Pilot and i-Pilot Link Micro Remote. The Legacy i-Pilot Link Controller will have a "Learn" button. If your controller has a "Pair" button instead, you will want to follow the instructions for pairing a Bluetooth i-Pilot Remote. When the button is pressed and held, the Controller will make an audible tone and go into pairing. The Controller will automatically power on when the motor is powered on.

Pair your Legacy i-Pilot Link Remote
- Power on your motor
- Ulterra and Riptide Ulterra- Press the power button on the base of the motor.
- Terrova and Riptide Terrova- Deploy the motor.
- PowerDrive and Riptide PowerDrive- Deploy the motor.
- On the motor, press and hold the "Learn" button. A consistent tone will be emitted from the Control Head.
- While holding the learn button on the controller, from the remote home screen select: Controls > Learn and press the OK key
- If the learn process was successful, the controller will respond with four beeps. In addition, the Dashboard section of the remote will begin to display motor status information such as prop speed.
Pair your Legacy i-Pilot and i-Pilot Link Micro Remote
- Power on your motor
- Ulterra and Riptide Ulterra- Press the power button on the base of the motor.
- Terrova and Riptide Terrova- Deploy the motor.
- PowerDrive and Riptide PowerDrive- Deploy the motor.
- Locate the Learn Button at the top of the Control Head.
- Push and hold the Learn Button down. A consistent tone will be emitted from the Control Head.
- While holding the Learn Button on the Control Head, push and hold the High Speed Bypass and AutoPilot keys on the remote simultaneously.
- Once successfully paired, 3 longer beeps will be emitted from the Control Head and the remote will be paired.
