Powering your i-Pilot or i-Pilot Link Remote On and Off (Bluetooth and Legacy Remotes, 2007-current)

The instructions below will walk you through turning your Bluetooth or Legacy i-Pilot and i-Pilot Link remote on and off.

Bluetooth i-Pilot Link Remote

  • To power on the remote, press the OK IPL-Ok.png button once.
  • To power off the remote, press and hold the OK IPL-Ok.png button for 3 seconds.

Bluetooth i-Pilot Remote

  • To Power on the remote, press the OK IP-Ok.pngbutton once.
  • To Power Off the Remote, press and hold the OKIP-Ok.png button for 3 seconds.

Legacy i-Pilot Link Remote

  • To power on the remote, press the OK LegacyIPL-OK.pngbutton once.
  • To power off the remote, press and hold the OK LegacyIPL-OK.png key.

  • To Power the remote on, press any button. The icons on the screen will light up. If the all of the icons appear and then turn off after 3 seconds, the remote is not able to communicate with the motor. Make sure the motor is powered on. If your motor is powered on, you can try pairing the remote to the motor with the link below.
  • To Power Off the remote, press and hold the Record/PauseLegacyIP-RecordPause.png button for 3 seconds. The remote will automatically turn itself off thirty minutes after the last button press if a learned i-Pilot controller is powered up and within transmitting range. The remote will turn off after three seconds if the i-Pilot controller is powered down or out of transmitting range.
