Bracket Features

  • Large bolt on Transom Bracket
  • Built-in Break Away System while moving, if the motor contacts an underwater obstruction, the breakaway system will release and allow the motor unit to swing up and over the obstruction. The breakaway system will automatically reset.

Transporting E-Drive

There is a tilt lock arm that MUST be engaged when transport, if it is not used it can damage the lift actuator and void warranty.

E-Drive Throttle Assembly Features

The Throttle Assembly is used to control all the functions of the EDRIVE. Controls, speed, direction, tilting, and power. This connects to the main control board on the EDRIVE unit with a long throttle cable.

  • Throttle Control Lever
    Has forward, neutral, and reverse position. The further forward you push the lever it will increase the speed forward. Straight up is the Neutral position and the further you pull it back the more it will increase your speed in reverse.
  • Tilt-up/down Switch
    Allows the motor to be tilted up or down
  • Master on/off key switch
    Turns the system on and off

LCD Assembly

All the information is displayed on the LCD Screen.

  • Percentage of Power Icon
    Provides a visual indication of the motor percentage of power/speed settings.
  • Battery Run Time Gauge
    Real-time battery gauge. It will display hours of remaining run time at the current speed settings. The motor does not need to be running for the gauge to display. This gauge is only accurate with 4 series wired Group 27, 105 amp-hour rated deep cycle marine battery. Key has to be on for this to be displayed
  • Prop Obstruction
    Will appear if the prop is stalled or obstructed.
  • Throttle Fault
    Return throttle to neutral and it should reset this message.
  • “N” Icon
    Will display if the unit is turned on while the throttle lever is not in the neutral position
  • Battery Fuel Gauge
    Visual indication of battery power remaining.

Provides instant readout of motor position.

Serial Number Location

The serial number is located on the extrusion, near the bracket.
