Possible Causes
The"Motor Not Found" message can appear when the remote cannot establish communication with the trolling motor. Check the following:
-
Motor is not powered on – Make sure the trolling motor is connected to the appropriate voltage and powered on.
- For Terrova models prior to 2017, the motor must also be deployed and the green System Ready light must be on.
- Remote is not paired or learned – The remote may need to be paired or learned to the i-Pilot or i-Pilot Link controller.
- Network connections are loose or damaged – Check the network plug connections at the motor control board and inside the control box.
- Coil cord or wiring is damaged – A broken or intermittent wire in the coil cord or network connections can prevent communication.
If the motor has power and the connections appear secure, use the appropriate procedure below to reconnect your remote.
