This article gives an overview of Remote Controls, Control Heads and other considerations involved in Trolling Motor GPS Navigation or Remote Control Operation.

Remote Control 

  • Handheld Remote Control used to operate Trolling Motors and Shallow Water Anchors.
  • Remotes are designed to pair with specific generations of motors and compatibility is dependent on what GPS or Upgrade kits the trolling motor is equipped with.

Control Head

Heading Sensor - Bluetooth

  • This Bluetooth-enabled heading sensor contains a compass that detects your boat's heading and communicates it to your trolling motor to enable the Spot-Lock Jog feature, which lets you move your Spot-Lock location in 5 ft. increments in any direction. The heading sensor is paired with compatible i-Pilot Bluetooth, i-Pilot Link Bluetooth, and Non-QUEST Advanced GPS Control Heads.
  • NOTE: Not compatible with Legacy Non-Bluetooth equipped trolling motors motors.
