- Wireless control from the fish finder, wireless remote, and Minn Kota Fishing App has been fine-tuned as well, resulting in precise micro adjustments and smooth to ramp up to full speed.
Instant Response Foot Pedal:
We’ve designed an all-new foot pedal to bring that same instant response feel of the legendary Ultrex to the Terrova QUEST and Ulterra QUEST models. Note: Foot Pedal sold separately for Riptide Instinct QUEST and Riptide Terrova QUEST.
- These updates are backed by real hardware enhancements that provide over 2 times faster steering than previous models.
- Its heel / toe design gives you a wired to water feel, so you know instinctively where your trolling motor is pointed based on the position of your foot.
- The resistance is adjustable, so anglers can set the feel that’s right for them and the way they fish.
- Adjusting the Resistance on the Instant Response Foot Pedal:
- 1. Ensure the motor is powered “off”.
- 2. Press the Heel-end of the Foot Pedal down.
- 3. Locate the Resistance Mechanism under the Toe end of the Foot Pedal. It sits between the top and bottom of the Foot Pedal.
- 4. While holding the Nyloc Nut with a 1/2” Crescent Wrench, use a 7/16” Allen Key to adjust the Resistance Screw. To increase resistance, turn the Screw clockwise. To decrease resistance, turn the Screw counterclockwise.
- 5. Ensure that there are no tools or persons near the Foot Pedal. Test the Resistance Mechanism. Adjust as needed for the desired resistance setting.
Compatibility
All new QUEST Series brushless trolling motors offer instant response steering and the new Instant Response Foot Pedal comes standard on 2027-Present freshwater Terrova QUEST and Ulterra QUEST trolling motors.
